At Mississippi Dermatology Associates, we strive to glorify God and to provide the best care for each patient’s medical and cosmetic needs involving the skin.  Our medical staff includes Dr. Beau Burrow, a board certified dermatologists, two physician assistants, and one nurse practitioner.  Our providers offer years of combined experience treating any and all skin care concerns.  We treat medical skin conditions as well and offer a wide range of cosmetic services including BOTOX®.

Mississippi Dermatology Founder, 

Dr. Bill Burrow

While Dr. Bill is not seeing patients in the clinic, he continues to serve the practice as a consultant. 

Dr. William H. Burrow, II, founded Mississippi Dermatology Associates in 1977.  Known in the clinic as Dr. Bill, he moved to Greenville, MS with his family when he was in high school. Dr. Bill received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University.  He then went to Mississippi State University where he studied zoology.  Dr. Bill completed medical school and an internship at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.  He moved to Birmingham, Alabama to complete a residency in Dermatology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham.

 

Dr. Bill is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.  He is active with the following professional organizations:  American Academy of Dermatology, Mississippi Dermatology Society, and Jackson Dermatology Society.

 

Dr. Bill is married to his high school sweetheart, LaFon.  They live in Madison, Mississippi.  Dr. Bill is an active member at Riverwood Bible Church.  When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Bill enjoys golfing, spending time with family, and cooking.

Dr. Beau Burrow

Dr. William H. Burrow, III (Dr. Beau) joined his father at Mississippi Dermatology Associates in 2000.  Dr. Beau was born in Greenville, Mississippi.  Following in his father’s footsteps, he completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University majoring in Mathematics.  He completed medical school at the Univeristy of Mississippi School of medicine.  Dr. Beau completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and completed his Mohs surgery fellowship with Dr. Gary Monheit.  While Dr. Beau specializes in treating skin cancer utilizing the Mohs surgical procedure, he also treats all skin conditions.

 

Dr. Beau is board certified by the American Academy of Dermatology.  He is an active member of the following professional organizations:  American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgeons, Mississippi Dermatology Society, and Jackson Dermatology Society.

 

Dr. Beau and his wife Christy live in Jackson, Mississippi.  When he’s not in the clinic, Dr. Beau enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, hunting, and participating in short term medical missions.

Catherine D. Diaz, PA-C

Catherine Diaz is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant. Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, she frequently traveled to Mississippi as a child to visit her mother’s extended family and developed a great love for Mississippi. Catherine attended Mississippi State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biological engineering. During her time at MSU, she was a Roadrunner and a member of the Phi Mu sorority. She then went on to attend Mississippi College to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. 

 

Catherine loves getting to know her patients and developing a personal relationship with them. She is passionate about providing quality care to her patients and educating them on skincare. Catherine is a member of the Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants. 

 

Catherine and her husband, Stephen, live in Clinton with their two rescue animals, Ella and Ollie. Stephen is a Biloxi native and works as a civil engineer for the Mississippi Department of Transportation. In her spare time, Catherine enjoys cheering for Mississippi State, traveling and visiting family and friends.

Jenna Haberman Ainsworth, PA-C

Jenna is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant. She earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Minnesota in biology and received her Masters of Medical Science as a Physician Assistant from Midwestern University in Arizona.  Jenna has practiced with Mississippi Dermatology Associates since 2016. 

Jenna is a compassionate dermatology specialist proficient in addressing medical dermatologic concerns for patients of all ages from acne, warts, psoriasis and eczema to hair loss and skin cancer detection and treatment. She also enjoys cosmetic dermatology. 

Jenna is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants.  Jenna is also a clinical preceptor and guest lecturer for Mississippi College Physician Assistant program.  Jenna was recently recognized by Hometown Rankin Magazine as one of the top 5 Physician Assistants in Rankin County.

In her spare time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, Hunter, and their foster children.

Christina Perkins, FNP-C

Christina Perkins received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Mississippi University for Women and her Master of Science in Nursing with honors from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.  She is a board certified nurse practitioner specialized in dermatology surgery, aesthetic, BOTOX®, and general dermatology.  Christina believes in developing strong relationships with her patients to achieve personalized care for every patient.

She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is nationally board certified in emergency nursing.  Christina has 10 years of experience as a registered nurse in trauma and emergency care.  She enjoyed her time spent as a travel ER nurse and working at UMMC children’s emergency department.  Christina is an active member of the Nurse Practitioner Society of Dermatology Nurses Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

In her spare time, she serves the community as an active certified volunteer firefighter with over 7 years experience.  She resides in Clinton, Mississippi with her husband and their two children.  She enjoys traveling, hiking, playing the piano, painting, and spending time with her family.
